Happy Thanksgiving! – What are You Thankful for?
I wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope that you are able to enjoy this day with some special people in your life. Be sure to take some time today and thank God for all the good gifts that He has brought into your life. Here is my thanksgiving prayer.
THANKSGIVING PRAYER
Father,
I’m thankful…
For the gift of life, and the gift of your Son.
For both old and new friends.
For the beaches where I can surf, and the mountains I can climb.
For the sunsets I can watch, and the songs that I hear.
For the food I get to taste, and the countries I’ve gotten to visit.
For your unimaginable love for me, and the love you have put in my heart for the world.
For your Spirit that lives within me and the revelation you’ve given us.
For the city of LA and the congregations I have the the opportunity to work with and beside.
The the Ecclesia Network and all those taking the risk of starting new churches.
For your work within me and your work through me.
For each person who visits this blog and is somehow encouraged, challenged or comforted through the words, pictures or videos that are posted.
For the ability to see, hear, touch, taste and smell.
For each new morning where I get the chance to experience your gifts all over again.
In the name of the Father, Son and Spirit.
