How I’m Approaching My Sabbatical – Part 3
I’m enjoying my first week in Hawaii, on the island of Kauai. Thursday, I will fly to Honolulu for a short stay, and spend the remainder of my time in Hawaii on the Big Island in Kona. As I mentioned in a previous post, the first month is about rest. The second month is about reflection.
MONTH THREE (November 2011)
What: Refocus, Surrendering, Resolving
Where: East Coast, Los Angeles & San Francisco
Description: During this time I seek to discern what is next in my life, based on my reflection from last month. I plan to meet up with some of my closest friends through the years to discern God’s future for my life with them, and possible engage in a “clearness committee”, a practice of the Quakers.
