Hey by the way…have a great time today being mutually encouraged with friends-old & new….and I so wish I was a fly on the wall with you talking about what’s so dear to your heart…I am sure you will feel like you are gathering more info for your book after the talk…and perhaps think….wow that ‘s a good thought I should put that in the book….LOL…have a great morning here!

And yet the “haves” are usually more miserable than the “have-nots”! Sometimes we all need reminding how fortunate we are, but that said I am impressed how often the older generations will say that they are blessed for there is always someone worse off than them. And I cant get my 5 year old to appreciate how lucky he is! Thanks for sharing this.

Sarah, I agree about the have & have nots., good thoughts you shared…it reminds me of the verse…the eyes of man are never satisfied( Prov 27:20)…With your kidos, I have heard many a families have their kids be more thankful & compassionate when their family engaged in inviting the less fortunate into their family…sometimes it’s been a trip to the other side of town to serve, sometimes a trip to a less fortunate country than ours….My parents were good at exposing us kids to alot of different people though they were far from being Christians/churched and it has blessed me …though some people are just more compassionate & thankful by nature, I think we can train & be trained….I’m counting on that….Yes I am from the older generation
