Exploring the New Website – Part 1
I’m going to start a series of post to get you acquainted with my new website. It has been designed to help you understand how to create a missional culture in the church that you serve. While much of the site is finished, some of the site is still in process, like the free equipper assessment (five fold gifting), which will hopefully be available in September 2012.
One of the pages on the site deals with resources. Within the resource section there is a section for the free equipper assessment and cultural assessment ( both forthcoming), a page of free online resources and a list of recommended readings.
Today I want to introduce you to the recommended readings section. I have a list of 10 epic books that I suggest you consider reading. In the future I will be developing a recommended reading list for each of the equippers – apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. In my recommended reading section, not only do I share the title of the book, but I give an annotated bibliography describing why I think a particular book is a must read. So take a minute to browse my 10 most recommended books.
As you think about the 10 books that have shaped your life significantly, what books would you have in your 10 epic book list and why?
