I often get asked, “How long did it take you to prepare for that talk?”  I never quite knew how to answer that question.  I could tell them that it took me fifteen to twenty hours, but that wouldn’t be the full truth.  For when I get up to share, I share from what has been gathering in my heart through my lifetime.  Meaningful speaking is not just about bringing prepared words, but bringing a prepared life, speaking out of who we are.  It has taken some time to find my voice, but with God’s help I am able to share his word through my unique voice in a way that awakens people join God in the renewal of all things.

LIFE EXPERIENCES AND FAVORITE TOPICS

I have planted churches on the East  and West Coasts, from Blacksburg, VA to Los Angeles, CA.  My passion is to awaken people to join God in the renewal of all things.  I’ve exercised my apostolic, evangelistic and teaching gifts to co-found and start a number of ministries included the Ecclesia Network, [nlcf], Kairos Los Angeles, the Missio Alliance and the Solis Foundation.  I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Masters in Global Leadership (Missional Leadership and Missional Church) and will be pursuing my PhD at the University of Manchester in January of 2013.
